Since you are having a wedding and/or reception, you will likely need to know 1. if your guests are coming and 2. how many guests are coming. To gather this information, we recommend an RSVP card. If you’d like to receive your RSVP electronically, then we recommend a details card where you can list your wedding website or an email address for them to RSVP to. You will want to mail your wedding invitations out 2-3 months ahead of your wedding. The RSVP date on your RSVP card can be anywhere from 4-6 weeks out from your wedding. What to include on your Save the Date
You’re getting married!! Now what?! You’ll want to send save the date cards out 6-12 months ahead of your wedding if you’re going to send them. Here are a few tips for what to include on them!
- Save the Date or Save our Date
- Bride and Groom’s names (you may just want first names or you can do first and last names)
- The wedding date
- The city and state where you’re getting married
- Invitation to follow
- Wedding website if you’re planning to make one
